Week 3 - Flickr

Flickr has some great uses for the classroom. The tagged pictures are helpful in finding exactly what you are looking for. I also like the feature that lets the pictures be mapped. If a student was doing a project about a place they can easily find pictures from that area. I liked the suggestion of trading cards and magazine covers. I like Flickr's policy of tagging content and removing things that are not deemed appropriate for sharing. All things have to be used with caution though.
